Getting Started

1. I offer a FREE phone consultation:

When we first connect by phone, I am happy to spend 10-20 minutes discussing what is going on and what possibilities I could offer you. You can ask questions, and get a sense of my way of working. I ask you questions to link together some of the layers that might be involved. I have bodywork tools for the physical problems, emotional tools for the soul wounds, and spiritual tools that tie it all together. Because I believe this is a collaborative process, I present my ideas for which directions to go, and you can decide if what I offer feels like a fit. Right from the beginning, I want to empower you to know yourself and what works for you as well as what doesn’t. You are the expert on you; I am a “consultant”.

2. First Session:

If you like, highlight any parts of the intake form that are the most important to you. Don’t forget to email your completed form in advance, or bring it to your first appointment!

A disclosure form gives you an overview of my work, and education, and your rights as a client. Click Here. This can be printed at home and brought to your first session, or you can type in your signature and email it to me.

Included in the Disclosure form is a release that allows me to talk to your doctor or other health care practitioners, so we can work as a team. This can be very valuable, depending on your situation and needs. Again, you can print it to fill in any specific conditions, sign it and bring it for your first session.

Insurance benefits will sometimes pay me directly or reimburse you for sessions, but every policy is different. If you would like to discuss this to find out what is available, bring it up in our initial phone consultation.

3. Subsequent Sessions:

The frequency of sessions is very flexible. If you are going through something very difficult, you may want to come as often as 1 or 2 times a week. One session a month is a great for maintenance, as part of your self-care routine. You can also come on an “as needed” basis. The more active you are in your own healing process, the deeper you go, and the faster you progress toward your goals. Adding more intentional self care (greater balance in diet, exercise, sleep, journaling, any of the creative arts, time in nature, etc) to your lifestyle will help integrate the sessions as well as open up new directions in our work together.

4. Fees and Scheduling

My fee is $125.00 for a 1 1/2 hour session.

Shorter or longer sessions are available upon request at $90.00 per hour, or $50. for 1/2 hour.

If you have financial hardship you would like to discuss with me, I have a limited number of sliding fee sessions available.
